For this flower arrangement I used all kind of items I had laying around, and an Amarylis. It`s surposed to be "Royal Red", whatever that means *lol* The flower is the only item I bought. The flower-box used to be outside (for summer flowers) I bagged some of our firewood, some branches I still had as a left over from previous decorations, a red ribbon band (that`s hopefully going to match the flower) and some duck tape. The tape is only to keep the ribbon band in place, you can`t see it at the end. What kind of flower pot you use for the flower doesn`t matter, you can`t see it also when you`re done.
Once I had everything needed, I put the ribbon band in place (since the flower is in the center I put it a little bit off center), put the flower in the center and filled everything else around it with the firewood. Once that was done I put some smaller pieces of tree bark inbetween. Once everything was in place I`ve added the branches on one side of the flower arrangement, done. More or less, because at the very end I`ve decided to add some moss inbetween some of the wood pieces. The moss makes it look more alive.
I`ve tried not to use too much because I want the Amarylis to be the center of it all. That`s why I didn`t add any more color.
You can, of course, use any kind of flower, you can add some decorative & colored branches, add lights (which I might do) aso aso aso.
