This is a Mixed media on cavas project I`ve finished recently. I`ll keep this on my art desk, as a reminder for myself that perfection is NOT as important as some, myself included, think.

This is a Supernatural (tv show) themed mixed media on canvas project I`ve been working on for the last 3-4 weeks *ish*
It took me sometime to get it done because the background didn`t play along, after I beat it into obedience *lol* it took me sometime to figure out how to put it all together.
Now it`s done and I`m happy with the result

This is another Mixed media on canvas project I`ve done, using some of the new stuff. I`m still playing around, to see how the colors work on a canvas.

The background is a black canvas

I`ve also added a text tag I`ve done myself using a technique I saw in a tutorial.

This is a Mixed Media Altered Object.

It is a (Birch) tree bark I found in our firewood. I used some spray colors (those added color, but kept the texture), stamps and some *tueddelkram* = done

This is a Mixd Media on canvas project I`ve done using some of my new art supplies. The colors are (mostly) done with Finnabair`s Mica Powder and metalic acrylic paint from my stash

I got some new & shiny art supplies, while playing around with the new stuff I thought I`m not gonna waste the page I used. That`s why I added some more colors, tape aso until I was happy with the result.

Then I declared this page to be page no. 1 for my first ever art journal :D

This is a Mixed Media on Canvas project I`ve been working on during the last days of 2015.

Altough I`ve done mixed media before (for decoration), this is the first of its kind, but for sure not the last.
I don`t own the fancy stuff others do (like stamps, stencils, spray colors aso) I used what I have, including one (of three) stencils.
I also used a canvas I had sitting arouns since, forever. The background was done (with colors&stuff), but nothing more. At the end I covered up most of the background. But it still shines through in some corners.

Decoration 101:

Actually, this is an advent wreath, Svala style. It`s a mix of natural & modern elements.

This what I used for step one:

A wood box, tree bark, jute, hot glue and a saw.

This is some of what I`ve used for step two:

Apparently copper is all the range this year = I bought copper colored candles

Decoration 101:

For this flower arrangement I used all kind of items I had laying around, and an Amarylis. It`s surposed to be "Royal Red", whatever that means *lol* The flower is the only item I bought. The flower-box used to be outside (for summer flowers) I bagged some of our firewood, some branches I still had as a left over from previous decorations, a red ribbon band (that`s hopefully going to match the flower) and some duck tape. The tape is only to keep the ribbon band in place, you can`t see it at the end. What kind of flower pot you use for the flower doesn`t matter, you can`t see it also when you`re done.

This is a picture of a Dahlia that grows in our garden. I took it after it`s been raining.
